I was pleasantly pleased by the low cost of living in Turkey. It is not as inexpensive as Southeast Asia, but you can eat good food for a few euros, and lodging is not prohibitively expensive. A vacation through Turkey can be done on a shoestring budget if you take public transportation and dine mostly at local restaurants.
Turkey is an unusual location in any case. Aside from the typical beach resorts, the country has a lot to offer, including gorgeous culture, diverse scenery, and delectable cuisine! This will undoubtedly not be our final vacation to Turkey; in fact, I am already looking forward to our next journey through this magnificent nation!
For one individual, a one-week holiday in Turkey costs roughly TRY3,038. So, a one-week trip to Turkey for two people costs roughly TRY 6,077. In Turkey, a two-week trip for two individuals’ costs TRY 12,154. When travelling as a family of three or four, the cost per person generally decreases because children’s tickets are less expensive and hotel rooms can be shared. Your daily budget will decrease if you travel slower over a longer period of time. Two people travelling in Turkey for a month can typically have a lower daily budget per person than one person going for a week alone.
First, a disclaimer: Everyone travels at their own pace and with their own set of priorities. That’s perfectly acceptable, but bear this in mind when you go through our prices. It can always be more or less expensive.
